Maaike at the Deux Magots
Katherine's friend, the noted Dutch author Maaike Lammers (author of Licht im Adem) was recently on tour in Paris, where she and her husband seized the opportunity to photograph the wonderful window display at Les Deux Magots of Katherine's recently translated book, The Magic Circle (Le Cercle magique).As readers of THE MAGIC CIRCLE will know, a pivotal scene takes place at Les Deux Magots. This wonderful cafe remains one of the favorite watering spots in Paris for authors of many generations.
