An old friend gave me a copy of your book The Eight years ago & I loved it. I have read it many times throughout the years & it’s binding is now unbound. I have it held together with a rubber band when not being read, but no matter where I’ve moved to it has always had a foremost place on my bookshelves. Years have i been waiting on a book such as this, and here I thought history bores me:)
I bought this book and just cant let it go! Currently I’m somewhere on 400 page and every time I hear tales of thIs service, though fictionaL, it chills me. I love your
blend of chess, music, codes, history and even physics in this book being a musician and a chess player myself I find this book absolutely amazing and clear Despite my english not being perfect there are no words–chilling, gripping, educating, smart, awesome.

THE EIGHT was quite pleasurable reading, among the best. i enjoy the research that you placed in the story which added considerably to its intrigue and readibility. Much like reading Dan Brown, though i see you were first, your storyline is well removed from the canned approach and so well thought out. i also read and loved your bio which says tons for you that i wish i knew you as a friend, perhaps as a bridge partner if you played. Since I read Eight in 1989 I believe that book may have defined what I enjoy about reading. Most of the authors I read write similarly to Ms. Neville however, rarely do I find a book or an author that is as good. Ms Neville remains one of my favorite authors.
Thank you for sharing your amazing stories and knowledge. They are treasured additions to my library.
