Katherine and Karl living in Vienna

As the saying goes: A rolling stone gathers no moss.
And whether or not we have a choice about where we roll, I must be the least mossy person on the planet!

Here is a photo of Karl Pribram and me when we lived in Vienna, Austria (1988). Somewhere between that moment and now, we have lived in, and/or traveled, all over the world.

Whatever is not discussed under “THE QUEST”, as part of my actual book research, will be discussed here, with interesting photos.

While doing research for my books, I not only keep notes but also, as a former professional painter and photographer, I use files of my “on-location” photos and drawings. Like this one:

Each December, the city of Douz, Tunisia, in the southern Sahara, hosts the Desert Fantasia — a wonderful spectacle replete with exotic dance performances, camel races across the red sands, and champion Arabian horses, with riders whose technical skills at trick riding would rival Buffalo Bill’s historic Wild West Show.

Articles about the Fantasia and my other travels will be appearing here in the months to come.
